History

After arriving to Earth-616 and getting her costume, Gwen Poole got her start in superheroics by getting a contract to kill Orto. Because he was known as "The Blade that Loosed a Thousand Souls", Gwen decided to purchase two swords for the job and spend some time learning swordfighting through Youtube tutorials. During the actual engagement Orto effortlessly destroyed one of the swords before being killed by an explosion, but Gwen continued to use two katanas as part of her regular superhero outfit from that point onward.
