Hank Hensley (Earth-616) from Extreme Carnage Alpha Vol 1 1 001

Human form.

Hank Hensley was a veteran who Flash Thompson befriended after his resurrection. Formerly a soldier in the army, once back in civilian life, he had pledged to work for a homeless shelter but had decided that he would enter the world of private security as another fellow former soldier had already done. When Carnage attempted to take over Flash's symbiote, he lashed out and nearly killed Hank before fleeing in horror. The following day, Flash approached Hank and apologized for attacking him, asking for his help in stopping Carnage by joining Senator Peter Krane's security division.[3] Worried about Hank's safety, Flash contacted the Sleeper symbiote and had it surreptitiously bond to him.[2]

During a meeting in Washington, Senator Krane asked Hank to stay outside with his dog Buddy, and sent him to pick up his latest VIP guest, "Mr. Riot".[4]

As Sleeper.

Hank later contacted Flash to update him on the situation, unaware that he was being spied on by Gemma Shin and the Agony symbiote.[5] Meeting with Flash, Andi Benton - host of the Silence symbiote, and Bren Waters - host of the Toxin symbiote, Hank was shocked to learn they were all symbiote hosts and horrified by their suspicion that Senator Crane had been taken over by Carnage and was going to assassinate the President. Hank returned to his undercover role at Flash's request, but was impaled from behind by Carnage - who had actually taken over Senator Krane's son, Arthur.[6] Hank was saved by the Sleeper symbiote, which emerged from him once he lost consciousness and dismembered Riot in retaliation. Sleeper then contacted Dr. Steven of Alchemax, notifying him of what was going on, and joined Silence and Toxin in holding off Agony, Lasher, and Phage.

Once recovered, Hank met with Flash - having no memory of what had transpired and believing himself to have been knocked out - and Flash chose not to reveal to Hank that he was a symbiote host.[2] After some time, Sleeper returned to the Brocks but left a piece of itself in Hank as a contingency plan, compelling him to sign on to the Life Foundation as a security guard. When Dylan was captured, Sleeper activated Hank, turning him into the Sleeper Agent.[1]
