History
Haywire's history is presumably similar to his Earth-712 counterpart's. He was a member of the Redeemers, a group dedicated to ending the Squadron Supreme who the Redeemers considered fascists. Haywire and the Redeemers had clashed at least once with the Squadron Savage, a group of brainwashed villains made by the government to perform missions the Squadron Supreme couldn't legally do. Haywire and the Redeemers were forced to retreat, leaving behind Cloak who was forced to become a member of the Squadron Savage.
The Redeemers later joined forces with Kang the Conqueror who promised to alter reality to where the Squadron Supreme never existed. The Squadron Savage were sent to stop the Redeemers, and a fight occurred between the two teams. Haywire tried to bind Squadron Savage member Crossbones with his tanglewire, but Crossbones' armor gave him enhanced strength, and he yanked on the wire, causing Haywire to be flung toward Crossbones. Crossbones then killed Haywire by slamming his head against the floor.[1]
