History
Harry was the son of Norman Osborn and a friend of Mary Jane and Peter Parker. He was present at the parade, when his father planted bombs there.[1]
Even though his father was stopped by Spider-Man and put in jail, Harry still was a friend of Peter and Mary. He didn't seem bothered by what happened much, so they continued to meet every now and then. For example, Harry and Peter went to see the demonstration of Otto Octavius and they also met with MJ near a restaurant, when she was kidnapped by Ock.[2]
It's unknown what suddenly made Harry to become the New Goblin and blow up a seemingly random building. The explosion attracted the attention of Spider-Man and he confronted Goblin. The serum made him insane just like his father. After Spider-Man finally caught and defeated him, he found out it was Harry, but he didn't even guess the reason for his friend to be like that. Unconscious Harry was picked up by the police and medics, and Peter was too preoccupied with his super hero life to keep in touch with Harry. The further fate of Harold is unknown.[3]Trivia
- This version of Harry as New Goblin didn't even speak with Spider-Man. When he wasn't silent, he just laughed. Harry also didn't blame neither Peter nor Spider-Man for his father's imprisonment.
