History
Harry was a friend of Peter Parker. He seemingly inherited Oscorp, when his father Norman Osborn was killed by Spider-Man as Green Goblin. Harry pulled strings to give Peter an opportunity to see the demonstration of Otto Octavius - a scientist who invented a way to use the power of the sun to give people new sources of energy. Harry was present during the demonstration and saw with his eyes how it turned into a disaster. Nevertheless, later he still decided to give Otto more tritium so Octavius could rebuild the reactor and continue his dangerous experiments. Spider-Man talked some sense into Harry and he told the hero where he could find Otto, which helped to stop the villain before it was too late.[1]
Years later Harry stopped talking to Peter. Somehow he found out that Peter was Spider-Man and his father - the Green Goblin. Harry used his father's formula and equipment to become the New Goblin and avenge his father's death. He attacked Spider-Man in the city, but was defeated and brought to a hospital by the hero. Much later, when Spider-Man was about to fight both Sandman and Venom at once, Harry decided to forget his resentment and came to help his buddy. They defeated the villains, but Harry's glider was damaged. He fell from an insane height and died. Peter mourned the fallen friend he couldn't save, but continued to be the hero out of the sense of responsibility.[2]
