They give birth at some point to David Munroe and to his sister.^{[citation needed]}

Years later, their daughter died from AIDS, and David Munroe Jr. was raised by them.^{[citation needed]}

When their grand-daughter Ororo was soon to marry the Black Panther, Hydra came to their house in New Jersey to capture and use them to influence Wakanda. All Hydra enforcers were killed or knocked out by Harriet, her husband, or the Black Panther, and Storm could see her grandparents for the first time in her life.^{[citation needed]}
