I'm sorry, gentleman...I don't believe this is my floor.

Agent Dawson[source]

History

Dawson was an agent working for S.H.I.E.L.D. At some point, he went on a mission to London along with Millie the Model looking for a dangerous weapon only to be ambushed by a group of armed mercenaries hired by Earl William Gould. After finding out that Gould was on a trip to the Aegean Sea, the two would travel to the place Gould had been staying, the Dionysus Hotel, where he helped Millie seduce Gould in order for her to get access to his personal yacht in hopes of discovering more information on the weapon. Millie would successfully convince him to let her in the yacht, sneaking away to his personal quarters and snooping through his documents before being discovered. Believing Millie was in danger, agent Dawson, who had followed her on to the yacht, shot William Gould, killing him. Millie then revealed that she had discovered that Gould would be attending a party held by the international arms dealer, Mateo Russo, where he would be auctioning the weapon.[1]

Dawson, impersonating William Gould, attended the party alongside Millie but the two were quickly discovered[2] and fled to a nearby elevator where Millie escaped into the shaft while Dawson was captured. Later, he would be tied up to a chair and tortured by Mateo on the whereabouts of his partner and the nature of his mission, refusing to give up any information.[3] He was soon rescued by Millie who had stolen the weapon and threatened to use it unless Dawson was freed, a request Russo obliged fearing the weapon's immense destructive power, enough to level the entire island they were on. The two would flee on a boat but where pursued by Mateo and his men[4] who had armed themselves with machine guns, destroying Dawson and Millie's boat. The two almost activated the weapon as a last resort, sharing a seemingly last kiss with Millie, but were rescued by Nick Fury and other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. On the plane ride back from Greece, he would be present for Millie's official hiring as a spy for S.H.I.E.L.D.[5]
