Synopsis for "A Memory"

A man named Jack and his companion Yagar go an expedition to find his lost father. He tells his friend that his father disappeared in this frozen landscape just like his grandfather did, and his father before him. Jack finds a trinket half-buried in the snow, and it triggers a vision of events that took place centuries ago. Jack's ancestor led a group of warrior's through this region and slaughtered dozens of innocent men and women. One of the women captured during the raid was a witch who cursed the warrior's family line decrying "Shub Niggurath shall take you. And your children, and your children's children, and your children's children's children. To the end of time". Jack snaps out of the vision and goes to show his companion what he has found. Yagar turns to face him, but he now bears the face of the witch woman killed so long ago. The woman smiles and repeats her original curse, at which point Jack turns into a skeleton and dies.
