Using it for the first time, Falcon said that the idea for the Hawk-Hook was given to him by Captain America the first time, convincing him to build it.[1]
Properties
Falcon's Hawk-Hook was a grappling hook connected to his left glove that was released by a spring connected to an unbreakable nylon cord that could support twice his weight. Also with a flick of his wrist, the cord would retract into its housing in the glove leaving only the claw outside that could be used as a weapon.[1]
