Moondragon was an assassin who operated in New York for 3 years, working for the mob and Paragon Corporation among others, before being slain herself in a car crash.[1] Prior to her demise a cult called the Enclave obained a sample of Moondragon's DNA. Having detected the approach of the world-consuming Gah Lak Tus more than 20 years ago, the Enclave worshipped his coming. Desiring to have the finest human representatives to meet the entity, the Enclave used Douglas' DNA to create hundreds of genetically altered female and male clones, training them as assassins and priests.[2]

Believing that the only beings worthy to greet the arriving entity were their clones, the Enclave were angered to discover that a group of silver men, the "Silver Wings," were gathering followers and preaching that Gah Lak Tus was a angry God returning, and that only mass suicide and planetary extinction would placate it and permit ascension to heaven. Wanting to stop the spread of this usurping rival, the Enclave sent out its clones to slay the cultists. Sniping at a New York cult meeting, one of Moondragons killed many of the members, but failed to do significant damage to the Silver Wing leading the meeting; private investigator Misty Knight witnessed the assault and pursued the clone, who narrowly evaded her.[3] Either this clone or another was subsequently sent to sabotage a telepathic booster used by S.H.I.E.L.D. to contact Gah Lak Tus, but was captured by Knight after completing her mission.[2] After S.H.I.E.L.D. rebuild the transmitter, the Enclave sent a clone army to assault S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Triskelion base, hoping to prevent telepath Charles Xavier from using the devise to attack Gah Lak Tus, but the Moondragons were stopped by the combined forces of S.H.I.E.L.D., the Ultimates and the X-Men.[4]

  • During her interrogation with SHIELD, Douglas knew what her interrogators were saying about her behind a soundproof door. This indicates that she has telepathic powers, perhaps similar to her Earth-616 counterpart.[2]
