History
Heather Duncan-Rand was the mother of Daniel Rand, the super hero known as Iron Fist. She died protecting him from a pack of wolves.[2] She found herself in Feng-Tu, a realm of the dead for the inhabitants of K'un-Lun, where she was welcomed by Tuan, first of the Yama-Kings. Unable to face her death, she ran away and was picked up by Dhasha Khan, who entrapped her soul and turned her into his soldier, the Silver Dragon.[1] When her son came to Feng Tu accompanying Jade, she fought and defeated him.[3] During a second confrontation between them, her mask fell off and she was revealed as his mother. When she found herself unable to kill her son, Dhasha Khan destroyed her physical form.[1]
However years later, it was revealed that she regained her physical form in Feng-Tu and continued to live there. When her son was slain by Nu-An, she revived Danny as one last gift from her to him.[4]See Also
