History

Hector Muñoz was the father of Armando Muñoz, who would later become the X-Man Darwin. When his son, Armando, started showing signs of mutation, he denied that he was his son and left him in his mothers care. Years later, he hired X-Factor Investigations to find Armando, claiming to feel bad for walking out on him when he was a child. However, it was revealed that he only intended to get him back so that he could sell him to Project Karma in an attempt to earn half a millon dollars. However, he was not paid, and instead was attempted to be murdered via a shot to the head. The shot did not kill him, but it rendered him mentally disabled. After Armando was freed by the X-Factor, his son went to see him in the hospital where he informed him that it would be hard to forgive him for his actions, but he would try to forget. Armando also told him that he could "rot in hell." before leaving.
