History

Helen Bach was a member of the United States Armed Forces, who was captured while on active duty in the Middle East. Her captors brutally tortured her before she was rescued. Traumatized by the experience, she was honorably discharged, and moved into a flat in New York City, where she built a small arsenal to defend herself. Eventually, she found the strength to recover, and became a construction worker, building things instead of blowing them up.

She was forewoman of a co-op construction site in the wake of Onslaught's attack on New York. When Wolverine wanted to reconnect to his humanity after going feral for a time, he moved to an apartment in New York and got a job on Helen's crew. During their friendship, Helen was possessed by Logan's evil sensei, Ogun.
