History

Helene and her mate Flavius were house cats that were transformed into humanoid cats by the kind wizard Ebrok. Eventually a group of wizards including Ebrok, Orann, and Belasco banished Flavius, Helene, and their descendents to the Land Within in fear that they would become a threat to humanity. Helene and Flavius used magic to come back to earth and created the first Tigra and first Balkatar who spawned a second group of Cat People.

Flavius unleashed a strain of the plague commonly known as the Black Death when he flung a beaker containing it at Ebrok's killer Orann.

Trivia

Ebrok transformed Flavius into a cat person first. When he saw how lonely Flavius was then he transformed his other cat Helene as well.
