History

Helene and her mate Flavius were housecats that were transformed into humanoid cats by the kind wizard Ebrok. Eventually a group of wizards including Ebrok, Orann, Belasco and Yanthon banished Flavius, Helene, and their descendants to the Land Within in fear that they would become a threat to humanity. Helene and Flavius evaded the banishment of their people by using Cat's Head Amulets to disguise themselves as human. They would go on to create the first Tigra after being unable turn housecats into Cat People they used a Human woman named Florence. Florence as the first Tigra defeated Flavius and Helene's enemies which allowed them to summon a Balkatar named Tegnar who fell in love with Tigra and the two spawned a second group of Cat People.

Flavius unleashed a strain of the plague commonly known as the Black Death when he flung a beaker containing it at Ebrok's killer Orann.

Trivia

Ebrok transformed Flavius into a cat person first. When he saw how lonely Flavius was then he transformed his other cat Helene as well.
