History

The Hellhounds were the guardians of Dormammuverse. Dormammu created them and the dimension itself as warped versions of Earth's heroes. Using his Spider-Man as his conduit, he arrived on Earth and recruited Doppelganger and Lizard-Spider into the Hellhounds. They initially hoped to stop The Symbiotes from returning to Klyntar and raising an army; however, after Poison reached Klyntar, Dormammu began possessing Symbiotes to craft his own army.
