Synopsis for "Nothing People"

Madelyne Pryor recounts for a captive Havok - whose lips are sealed shut by the Goblin Queen’s magic - how Cyclops left her for Jean Grey years before, turning Madelyne into a “nothing person”. Havok grabs a shard of glass from the floor of the clone farm and slices open the skin over his mouth so he can speak. Through the blood, Alex - succumbing to his evil inverted persona - shouts that he is sick of hearing Madelyne talk about his brother. This burst of untethered anger excites Madelyne. She leaps into Havok’s arms and kisses him passionately.

Madelyne leads Havok to the other captured Hellions. Greycrow is suspended upside-down from the ceiling, while Madelyne’s corrupted Marauder clones are trying to break open the armored suits of Nanny and Orphan-Maker. Madelyne tells Greycrow she has cursed the Marauders with an insatiable hunger, retribution for shooting her and stealing her child years ago. To demonstrate her power, Madelyne commands Arclight to cut off her own hand and eat it in front of Greycrow. Arclight enthusiastically abides as Madelyne walks away with Havok at her heels.

Madelyne sits on her makeshift throne and Havok kneels before her. Madelyne tells Alex that she is going to kill him to punish his brother, then use Sinister’s army of Marauder clones to destroy Krakoa as revenge for forgetting about her. Tears in his eyes, Alex says he understands.

A Krakoan memo warns that Psylocke’s alliance with Sinister should be monitored closely to ensure that the volatile situation does not explode and take Krakoa down in the process.

Elsewhere in the orphanage, Psylocke bleeds heavily from a chest wound. She is being pursued by her attacker, Wild Child, who has been overcome by his feral side. Psylocke tries unsuccessfully to talk sense into Wild Child, then avoids another attack and plunges her psychic knife into Wild Child’s brain. Unfortunately for Kwannon, this completely wipes away Wild Child’s higher brain functions, increasing his animalistic aggression. Psylocke realizes a more brutal approach is necessary. Wild Child lunges at her again and Psylocke strikes. She breaks his arm, leg, and finally, his neck, leaving him laying at her feet. She waits for his healing factor to do its work.

Blockbuster and Harpoon finally crack Orphan-Maker’s armor. To their shock, a noxious liquid bursts through the suit and sprays Harpoon in the face, melting the skin away down to his skull. Meanwhile, Arclight apologizes to Greycrow, then says she is hungry and stabs him.

As Greycrow’s cry of pain echoes through the halls, Wild Child stands, mentally and physically healed, and thanks Psylocke for breaking him. Psylocke conjures her psychic knife and the two of them head toward the screams.
