The Helm of Hades was part of Hercules' post-invulnerability arsenal of Olympian items.[1]
Properties
- Invisibility: Can turn the wearer magically invisible[citation needed] and undetectable,[citation needed] even to the gods.[citation needed] As it is made of Adamantine,[citation needed] it has the added advantage of protecting the wearer from telepathic detection,[citation needed] probing[citation needed] and assault.[citation needed] In some legends, Pluto used this item to also pass through walls and even other dimensions.[citation needed] It is unknown if Hercules is able to access this feature.
Trivia
- The Cap of Invisibility/Cap of Hades/Helm of Hades is the main weapon associated with the god Hades in Greek mythology. The Cap "enables the user to become invisible to other supernatural entities, functioning much like the cloud of mist that the gods surround themselves in to become undetectable".[2]
