History
In 1958, during the Cuban revolution, Logan finds himself entrenched in a covert mission in Cuba, surveilling the revolutionaries Fidel Castro and Che Guevara with his partner Hendricks. However, when communication with Hendricks is abruptly severed, Logan's solitude is shattered by the sudden appearance of unexpected allies: Jimmy Woo, Gorilla Man , and the enigmatic M-11. Their claim to be FBI agents doesn't quite add up, especially when faced with a talking gorilla. Tensions escalate swiftly as Gorilla Man attempted to apprehend Logan, only for the wily mutant to slip free and launch a vicious attack on Jimmy Woo.
Shockingly, Logan draws blood with his blade, but the true nature of the threat becomes apparent when a monstrous insect emerges from Woo's neck. With grim realization, the group recognizes the insidious danger posed by Yellow Claw's mind-controlling bugs. Determined to uncover the extent of the threat, Woo sends the deceased insect to Marvel Boy and Venus for analysis, while extending a reluctant apology to Logan for the misunderstanding. Their uneasy alliance leads them to Hendricks, only to discover him under the sway of the very creatures they've been combating. Faced with the grim reality of irreversible mind control, Logan is forced to make a gut-wrenching decision, swiftly killing his infected partner. The act sparks dissent among the group, with Woo urging Logan to join Department Zero for debriefing. Refusing to be bound by anyone's agenda, Logan triggers planted explosives and vanishes into the jungle, leaving the agents behind. As the Agents of Atlas depart from Cuba, unaware of the sinister reach of Yellow Claw's influence, the shadow of impending doom looms large, with the revelation that even the leaders of the Cuban revolution may have fallen prey to the mind-controlling bugs.[1]See Also
