Henn Birdwing was seen at Larval Comics offices when Spider-Ham broke in and demanded that he get his own graphic novel, similar to Kraven's Last Hunt. [1]

This character is a reference to comic-book author Glenn Herdling - who wrote and co-edited the comic in which Birdwing appears.
