Pym-Phalanx was a being from an unknown domain on Battleworld who was sent to the Shield. 5 years prior he went into the Deadlands to learn from the Zombies and turn them against the Ultron Drones. Through unknown events, the Hel-Rangers lost contact with him after two months and he was seemingly captured by the Zombies and for reasons unknown was forced to create giant zombie ants to attack the Shield. He left coded messages in their DNA to apologise and requested to be killed. However, the source of the ants was not discovered and they continued to attack the Shield. It is uncertain what the fate of Pym-Phalanx was.[1]
