History

Galactus and an unidentified Herald attacked Rome in 1582 AD, but they were fended off by Galileo Galilei and the Brotherhood of the Shield.

Trivia

• Jonathan Hickman's S.H.I.E.L.D. reimagines many past real-life historical events and incorporates them into Marvel Comics history (e.g. the Colossus of Rhodes fell to a Kree Sentry). With that in mind, 1582 was when 10 days went "missing" due to a calendar switch, and this was used to cover up Galactus' attack.
