History

The Heralds of Galactus' history is presumably similar to their Earth-616 counterparts. One day, Galactus decided not to use a single Herald but a group of them that made up a portion of the Universal Church of Truth to search out planets for him to consume. When Silver Surfer tried to stop the plan, he was forced into a machine by Galactus that slowly drained his power so it could be used to bend certain followers in the Church to Galactus' will.

It's unknown what became of the Heralds after Galactus was lobotomized by Star-Lord using a Time Stone shard.
