Synopsis for "Whatever Happened to Earth's Mightiest Heroes?"
In East Los Angeles, Robbie Reyes was riding his bicycle to school when he was approached by Blade who was looking for Ghost Rider. Robbie continues paddling while claiming that he must've been describing something that people might smoke. Blade continues to narrate about each character in this reality.
In Washington DC, Doctor Doom uses the Gem of Cyttorak to become Doctor Juggernaut in order to attack the White House. Hyperion arrives and fights Doctor Juggernaut. He breaks free of Doctor Juggernaut's grip and then used his heat beams on him. When Hyperion informed the rest of the Squadron Supreme of this, Nighthawk informed him that the rest of the Masters of Doom are with him. Nighthawk goes to the Capital to confront Hydra who is led by Black Skull where they have taken Congress hostage. Doctor Spectrum springs into action and flies by Carol Danvers' jet. This was witnessed by Tony Stark as he meets up with some people.
Blade suspects that the Squadron Supreme of America was the reason why the Avengers never existed. Blur engages the Silver Witch. Power Princess fights her archenemy All-Gog: The Final All-Father Destroyer of Asgard. Doctor Spectrum engages Thanos and his Infinity Rings in outer space.
Days earlier in Norway, Blade had found Thor in a bar where he met Thor and learned that Odin is dead and that he never found Mjolnir because he knew nothing about it. Thor drives him away.
Back in the present, Nighthawk continues his fight with Hydra as Blade showed up and takes down some Hydra agents. When Blade noted Nighthawk's intelligence and asks him who he is, Nighthawk identified Blade as a cutthroat from London as Blade tried to ask him what the Squadron Supreme did to the world.
As Hyperion continued his fight with Doctor Juggernaut, President Phil Coulson's advisors state that they have to get him down to the bunker. President Coulson asked them "Have you ever seen a world more beautiful than this? As the Squadron Supreme continued their fight against their opponents, Nighthawk instructed Nightnote to enhance all global surveillance to find Blade.
In the arctic, Blade used his vampire senses to search the entire area where he finds Captain America in ice. At the same time, Mjolnir appeared before Thor which turned out to be in the form of his cup. Touching the ice that Captain America is encased in, Blade quotes "Avengers Assemble".
Solicit Synopsis
A WORLD WITHOUT AVENGERS!
Welcome to a world where Tony Stark never built an Iron Man armor. Where Thor is a hard-drinking atheist who despises hammers. Where Wakanda is dismissed as a myth. And where Captain America was never found in the ice because there were no Avengers to find him. Instead this world has always been protected by Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, the Squadron Supreme of America. And now the Squadron faces an attack from some of their fiercest enemies, like Dr. Juggernaut, the Black Skull, the Silver Witch and Thanos with his Infinity Rings. But why is the Daywalker Blade the one man alive who seems to remember that the entire world has somehow been…reborn?Notes
- Blade's narration notes about what each character is on this unidentified Earth:
- 1778 Bleeker Street in Greenwich Village was a smoky head shop where nobody has ever heard of Doctor Strange.
- Jennifer Walters runs a successful law practice in Los Angeles where there is nothing green about her.
- Bruce Banner was exiled to the Negative Zone years ago after his first Hulk transformation.
- Carol Danvers was an Air Force pilot who is constantly getting busted for insubordination and never made it to the rank of captain.
- Tony Stark never took the shrapnel to the heart.
- Starbrand was deemed too dangerous and was banished to the Negative Zone.
- The nation of Wakanda doesn't appear on any maps and was dismissed as a myth.
- The power of the Iron Fist never left the mountains of Tibet.
- Quicksilver died fighting the Squadron Supreme of America which led to the chaos magic having Scarlet Witch absorb his powers to become Silver Witch.
