History
Herr Huss was a high ranking Nazi official in Nazi Germany during World War II. In 1941, he pretended to defect from the Nazis and fled to the United States for the purposes of trying to free Germany from Nazi rule. Flying to New Jersey to meet with his American contact, the millionaire John Garrett, he ended up in a dog fight and was shot down by the American costumed hero known as the Patriot. Confronting Huss, the Patriot was sold by his story and took him to Garrett's mansion. There, the Patriot attempted to call his friend, newspaper reporter Jack Casey to give him the story only to be shot by Garrett's butler.[1]
Casey went to Garrett's home and overheard Huss and Garret's true intentions: to lull the United States into being open to a blitzkrieg attack from Nazi forces. Casey accidentally fell through a skylight and was captured by the two Nazis who sealed him behind a brick wall in the basement of the mansion. The Patriot revived and found his friend's hat. He confronted Huss and Garrett about it, and the two attempted to kill him as well. In the fight, Huss accidentally shot Garrett, killing him.
Seeking to avoid capture, Huss chose to commit suicide, turning his own gun on himself.[2]
