History

One of the original Hierophants being attacked by an Anchorite

The history of these Hierophants mirrored that of the Hierophants of Earth-616, up to the point when Angela went to the Temple of the Anchorites to murder a monster that had been killing Anchorites. After Angela slew the monster, the Hierophants confronted Sera for studying forbidden magic in secret and having killed one of their own, but Sera fought back and led the Anchorites against them. All the original Hierophants were killed and eventually replaced by the former Anchorites, who rebelled against the Throne of Heven.
