History

Hope was born to the Morlock known as Harmony and her husband in the sewers of London, and delivered by the X-Man, Nightcrawler. Shortly after her birth, her mother and father were forced to flee through the tunnels with her and several other members of the tunnel community to escape the Church of Humanity cult and their mutant-hunter, Mister Clean. The X-Men rescued the group and showed them a passage out of London, and in gratitude Harmony named her baby "Hope."
