History
The history of this Hope Summers came to be when Cable came to this timeline and was met by this Earth's Blaquesmith. Cable found out that the Avengers killed Hope in this world, so she wasn't around to save the future. Infuriated, Cable returned to the present so he can prevent this from happening.[1]
Cable spends the last twenty four hours of his life due to the Techno-Organic Virus, in order to save Hope. He tracks down the Avengers one-by-one and captures Falcon, Iron Man, Captain America, and the Red Hulk.[2] The only ones left where Spider-Man and Wolverine, who in turn tracked Cable down at Blaquesmith's freighter in hopes that the other Avengers were there. Cable fights Wolverine until Blaquesmith shows up with Cyclops and Hope in tow, to talk to Cable out of doing what he was doing. Hope finally gets around to him, but his 24 hours are up and starts to succumb to the virus. As Hope was holding on to her father, her powers allowed her to heal his entire body of the virus but left him in a semi-comatosed state. Back on Utopia, Cable has a telepathic conversation with his father begging him to protect Hope from the Avengers.[3]
This led to having the Phoenix Force come back to Earth to take Hope on as a host, which brought on an all out war between the Avengers and the X-Men.[4] After the big outbreak when Cyclops as Dark Phoenix killed Professor X, Hope was able to harness the power of the Force, and with the help from the Scarlet Witch she was able to give birth to new mutants into the world, thus saving the mutant race.[5]
Unbeknownst to anyone, this also brought an older version of Hope back to life, which caused Blaquesmith's original timeline to be overwritten with a alternate one.[6]
Becoming Stryfe, she and Blaquesmith started to tamper with the timeline through a corpse of a Deathlok so they can boost Cable's precognitive abilities in the past so they can make better enhancements to their world. Blaquesmith brought present day Hope to the future and after finding out what the were to doing to Cable, she told them that if they didn't stop it would kill him. Older Hope agreed and ended up sending her younger self back in time with Cable's weapon the Psimitar so he can focus his abilities through the weapon.[7]
