Hope as Wasp during the apocalypse
Hope Van Dyne's history is likely similar to her Earth-199999 counterpart, up until 2018 when her father, Hank, went into the quantum realm to find his wife Janet. Hope's mother was infected with a quantum virus that converted her into a zombie, resulting in Hank being zombified when he found her. The two returned to the lab where they attacked Hope and Scott Lang. Hope was able to escape while Lang got infected.
Over the next two weeks, the majority of Earth was presumably infected, including many of the Avengers. At some point, Hope joined forces with a zombie resistance consisting of Spider-Man, Happy Hogan, Sharon Carter, Bucky Barnes and Scott's friend Kurt. When Bruce Banner crash-landed in New York to warn people about the coming of Thanos, he arrived to see Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian being infected by zombified Iron Man, Doctor Strange and Wong. But just before the Avengers could infect Banner, Hope arrived in the nick of time with a swarm of ants to kill off the zombies. Hope, Spider-Man, Banner and the Cloak of Levitation return to a Resistance base made out of subway cars suspended by Spider-Man's web fluid.

When Okoye of the Dora Milaje told the Resistance of a signal from Camp Lehigh S.H.I.E.L.D. base in New Jersey indicating progress on a zombie cure, the band of heroes set out to head there. Arriving at Grand Central Station, the group split up and as they try to get the train started, are attacked by a zombified Hawkeye and Falcon. Despite this perilous ambush, the team are able to kickstart the train and head out. Unfortunately, during the train ride, Sharon Carter is infected by a zombified Captain America. The zombie Sharon was later killed by Hope who shrunk and flew into the zombie's mouth, then resizing inside her, causing her to explode. It was after this that Hope discovered a scratch on her, implying that it was only a matter of time before she became a zombie.

Post-zombification
After some time, the group of heroes arrive at Camp Lehigh which is surrounded by a zombie horde. Deeming her responsible for causing the outbreak in the first place, and knowing her time is coming, Hope volunteers to sacrifice herself to take the heroes to the S.H.I.E.L.D. base. Enlarging herself, she stomps over the horde and carries the heroes to safety as the horde cover her. The zombies eventually break through her suit, causing her to eventually succumb and fall on the ground lifeless.
At the base, the Resistance finds Vision, and the head of Scott Lang, whom the former had cured the latter of the infection using the Mind Stone. However, it was also revealed that Vision had abducted Black Panther, as well as lure other survivors to feed to his lover, the zombified Wanda Maximoff. When she is awakened, T'Challa, Bruce, Peter and Scott (being carried by the Cloak of Levitation) flee the base on a quadjet, only to face a giant-sized zombie Hope. She grabs the quadjet, but the heroes barely escape, as they head to Wakanda hoping to cure the zombie infection once and for all. Unbeknownst to the band of heroes, a zombified Thanos with a nearly completed Infinity Gauntlet awaits them there.[1]See Also
