Synopsis for 1st story
This story shows the fates of characters in the House of M:
Steven Rogers is an old man who didn't get frozen in suspended animation in WWII; Scott Summers and Emma Frost have been happily married for a while and Emma is in charge of working with children such as Franklin Richards, whose parents died in a rocket crash; Dazzler has her own show, on which she asks Wonder Man about the world's most popular homo sapien super hero, Ms. Marvel. Captain Marvel battles and defeats Gambit, a common mutant thug, who gets arrested in front of a sentinel statue; Kitty Pryde teaches her class about the first mutant, Namor the Sub-Mariner; Detective Sam Wilson goes to Hell's Kitchen to talk to Luke Cage about the attack on Wilson Fisk; he is also met by Misty Knight; Robert Reynolds has repeating episodes of the Void, endangering his son at one point, and is receiving therapy from Doctor Strange, not a master of mystic arts; Colossus is a farmer in Russia; Dr. Henry McCoy is an employee of the most successful homo sapien businessman, Tony Stark, and advises Dr. Henry Pym not to try and create a cure for mutant genes. Janet Van Dyne is a fashion designer working with Ororo Munroe. Wolverine awakens from a dream to find himself in bed with Mystique; he rushes to the roof of the building he is in and discovers he is on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. It is assumed he somehow remembers the real world.
