The House of X was the home of Professor X on Krakoa.

History

The first House of X in 1856

In 1856, Silas Ellerby was stranded on Krakoa when his passenger ship crashed killing everyone onboard including his wife Lucy. Alone on Krakoa, Silas' geokinetic powers stopped Krakoa from draining his life force leaving him to use his powers to create the palace he had designed for Lucy, the House of X. Physically hurt by Silas' creation, Krakoa reached out to the wreckage of Duke of Milan to retrieve Lucy's corpse. Possessing Lucy's corpse, Krakoa scared Silas and caused him to fall out of a window and died. Following Silas' death, Krakoa reabsorbed his palace.

The House of X was located on the western side of Krakoa. It served as the primary residence of Professor X, as well as secretly housing Cradle One.

During an infiltration of Krakoa by Mikhail Rasputin's forces, one of Rasputin's nesting doll agents was able to enter the House of X and successfully steal the Cerebro Sword.
