History

Following the disappearance of the original House of the Deadly Hand, Supreme Commander Shang-Chi had a new House of the Deadly Hand built in New York City's Chinatown, which also served as the main base of operations for the Five Weapons Society. After the House's construction, the Society's highest ranked members including Master Ling, Sister Dagger, Brother Sabre and the recently rejoined Sister Staff took up residence there.[1] After Shang-Chi's mother Jiang Li was rescued from the Negative Zone she spent her time recuperating at the new House.[2] Red Dot and his henchmen visited the House and offered Shang-Chi Iron Man's Armor but were defeated and taken to the House's interrogation room. Iron Man tracked his stolen armor at the new House and confronted Shang-Chi, who lured him into the House's armory to make use of its weapons to counter Stark's Iron Man Armor Model 70 and convinced him of his innocence.[3] Chieftain Xin sent his allies to assassinate Shang-Chi at the House of the Deadly Hand while he observed them from the House's rooftop. Despite their failure to kill Shang-Chi, the would-be assassins escaped to the rooftop by taking Jiang Li hostage and fled through a portal summoned by Xin to Qilin Island.[4] After saving Brother Sabre and Sister Hammer from Xin's Taotie and the Qilin Riders, Shang-Chi took them the the House of the Deadly Hand, where the Warriors of the Deadly Hand built Sister Hammer a prosthetic hand and activated a makeshift portal to Ta-Lo for Shang-Chi and his siblings to travel to.[5] Jiang Li was able to escape her imprisonment and fled to the House to warn the Society of an attack from the Qilin Riders. The Qilin Riders arrived to destroy the Society's headquarters, which were defended by Jiang Li, Master Ling and the Warriors of the Deadly Hand.[6]

When Shang-Chi was unable to access the gateway to Ta-Lo to return the Ten Rings, Shang-Chi had them secured in a vault within the House. Due to the final fight between Shang-Chi and Xin being televised over the world, several criminal organizations attacked the House to claim the Ten Rings but were fought off by Shang-Chi using the Rings' power.[7]
