History
Howard Stark shared history with his counterpart from Earth-199999. In the year 1970 he was working at the secret S.H.I.E.L.D. facility in Camp Lehigh, Virginia alongside Doctors Hank Pym and Arnim Zola. One day while looking for Zola on one of the underground levels, Howard had run into a visitor from MIT who introduced himself as Howard Potts. Stark greeted his namesake and helped him outside, sharing his anxiety about the upcoming child his wife was expecting at the time. While the two men were saying goodbyes to each other, Potts hugged Stark uncomfortably close, after which Howard asked Edwin Jarvis whether he had met this men before, as his features seemed familiar.[1]
