Synopsis for "The Tomb of Drakula!"

Prologue:
In the ultramodern executive suite of Midnight Publishing Company, Eric, the editor-in-chief, replaced Harold H. Harold as the head writer and labeled him "stale", much to his anger. When Eric claimed that Bram Stoker created Dracula, Harold claimed that he had met the real Dracula, based his stories on his exploits, and would kill the vampire before allowing the editor-in-chief to "make a mockery of his creation." Harold jumped out of the window and hurt himself before being noticed by Bill Mantlo and Mike Golden.

In Cleveland, Howard was walking home before a bat transformed into Dracula before him and drank from him before spitting out his blood, realizing that he was a duck and not a midget. Later, at his Bay Village home, Bev was posing for a painting that Paul planned to give to Howard as a surprise for his birthday. When Howard walked in the room, he immediately turned around. Paul's painting was actually of grapefruits in a bowl, rather than Bev. Winda prepared tea for Howard and went to his room, where he attempted to drink her blood. When Bev caught him, she was unaware of the incident and threw him down the stairs.

Howard left the house to find blood to drink while Bev was crying about Howard supposedly kissing Winda on the neck. Winda claimed that Howard was not feeling himself and a wheelchair-bound Harold H. Harold entered the house, introduced himself, and revealed that Howard had been bitten by Dracula. Harold also revealed that not enough blood had been drawn from Howard to kill him, leaving him with vampire taint, making Howard only think that he was a vampire and deduced that they would find Howard and all other real or would-be-vampires with Dracula. In the nearby suburb of Shaker Heights, Howard attacked two cheerleader girls named Fay and Adrienne and attempted to drink their blood. The two girls screamed and alerted the neighbors who aimed unloaded guns at him.

The next morning, Howard's friends met Harold at the Continuity Diner, where the wheelchair-bound writer had a pom-pom that Howard bit into. Howard, who was taking cover in the sewers, forgot the events of the previous night, but was exhausted and fell asleep. At dusk, Bev and Harold continued searching for him and his lover received help from Uncle Lee and Claude. At night, they learned that Howard was at the Cleveland Zoo.

The group arrived at the zoo and encountered Dracula. As the Lord of Vampires grabbed Lee and Claude, Bev found Howard and was able to return him to normal. When Howard turned his attention towards Dracula, the latter put Bev into a trance. An angry Howard impaled Dracula with a stake, causing him to melt before convincing Harold to save him, so that his "True Vampire Stories" would not come to an end. Dracula drank Harold's blood before transforming into a bat and flying away.

Epilogue:
Howard read a newspaper article about Harold's decaying corpse crawling out of his freshly-dug grave. This was due to Harold being turned into a vampire.

Synopsis for "Captain Americana"

Howard drove a man and a woman to Municipal Stadium. When the man would not stop touching the woman, Howard intervened and punched the man, causing him to fall down on him and cause him to destroy a ticket booth with his taxi. The police subsequently charged him with drunk driving before the Cleveland Indians hit the ball out of the park and into the window of his taxi. The fans rushed towards his taxi and tore it apart before obtaining the ball. An angry Howard was manipulated into spending his last quarter on the previous day's newspaper before arriving at To Hack And Back Garage, where Lee informed him that he and Claude would be laid off until the insurance paid for the cab.

Howard returned to his home where Winda offered to send him to Duckworld. Howard was reluctant to leave because of Bev, so Winda insisted that he find another job. He applied as a "child companion" at 1529 Patriotic Place, Shake Heights. Upon arrival at the listed address, he was hired and a woman introduced him to her children. After the woman left, Howard listened to the children complain about their parents and learned that Junior, who was actually the eldest among them, regressed in age due to their parents thinking that history stopped in 1959. Then, the children took turns harassing Howard, then chased him until their father arrived. The children claimed that their new babysitter was "not normal", so their father, Captain Americana, attacked him with his shield before hunting him with a gun. Howard fled the house and wanted to return to Duckworld.

Upon returning to his house, Howard announced his intention to return to Duckworld, much to Bev's anger. He claimed that it had all been downhill ever since he arrived, aside from meeting her. Howard claimed that if he returned to Duckworld, he would return to Earth and could not live without her, so she asked him to take her with him. After Winda used her powers to attempt to send Howard and Winda to Duckworld, they disappeared.
