History

The Hightower brothers fought as Howlers, a team in Hugo Longride's mutant arena. Bouncer retained a generally human appearance, while Barker and Byter took the form of mutant bulldogs. The Howlers showed up at Heartbreak Hotel trying to take Dazzler, who was still under contract to Hugo Longride. Beast opposed them, but despite their joint growling disorienting Beast, he still managed to defeat them.
