History

Hub was one of the few survivors after Cassandra Nova programmed her Wild Sentinels to decimate the island of Genosha, killing over 16 million mutants.

Somehow she found other survivors and allied herself with Unus the Untouchable and his gang. She was a very valuable asset on the island since all forms of transport were eradicated or made useless by the resulting electromagnetic damage. Inside of the gang, she became close friends with Hack and the two of them began to doubt if Unus' exclusive, clique-like strategy was the best way.

M-Day

When mentally ill Scarlet Witch removed the mutant gene from most of the mutant population, Hub was one of the many who lost her powers.[1]

However, Quicksilver—as an act of penance for his part in the worldwide depowering—stole some Terrigen Crystals from the Inhumans in an attempt to repower some mutants. He started his mass efforts in Genosha and effectively restored the abilities of many on the island including Wicked, Freakshow, and Callisto. When this last started to suffer from her restored powers, Hub sent her to the Victoria Hospital at Mahé Island in the Seychelles, going close to death using her own twisted powers.[2]

She was later taken into medical care with the other refugees by the O*N*E, at the same hospital where Callisto, and the effects of the Mists eventually faded away, leaving the Genoshans powerless.[3]
