Synopsis
The Human-Deviant wars[1] were a continuation of conquest wars by the Deviant Empire, at the expense of the human kingdoms, during the late Pre-Cataclysmic Age.
Deviant conquest of the world[]
After Kull's rule (circa 18,500 BC), the Deviants of Lemuria,[2] on the continent of Mu,[3] eventually enslaved most of humanity, became the dominant race and ruled the world.[4][3] The Eternals opposed them,[5] including Ikaris.[6]
Over 20,000 years ago, the Dweller-in-Darkness fed off the fears originating from those.[1]
War on Atlantis[]
The Deviants then turned their heads to Atlantis,[2] the last significant human kingdom resisting them.[3] From there, they sent human armies assault the Atlanteans led by King Kamuu. Atlantis' defenses caused seismic disturbances under their city.[7]
That conquest came at an end circa 18,000 BC, as the Second Host of the Celestials returned to Earth. A number of non-exclusive causes led to the Great Cataclysm.See Also
