History
When Leader traveled back in time to Europe in 1944 during World War II, he assisted Hydra by building a weapon that would help them win the war. In this reality, Captain America was never frozen in ice and continued his fight against Hydra for the following decades. In the present, Hydra had taken over the world with Leader in charge and anyone who rebels was is either killed or sent to reeducation camps to be part of their society.[1]
