Synopsis
Overview[]
The Hyinar Usurpation[1] was Snarkwar initiated by Hyinar, Third Prince of the Zn'rx's royal blood.[2]
Backgrounds[]
The Zn'rx, who live on planet Snarkworld used to determine their monarch's succession by Snarkwar, an all-out war of succession waged by the heirs of the deceased monarch, triggered by a violent urge to claim the alpha position after sensing (immediately) the death of their sire.
Under Bhadsha, reforms were adopted to strive towards a single combat resolution rather than the destructive Snarkwar.[1] After Bhadsha's demise and his son Jakal's successive return, aggression against Zn'rx, and defeat, a ruling triumvirate composed of Sobak (Bhadsha's favored successor and High Snark of Ankar Clan), Destrak (queen-mother of Destrak Clan and would-be-first empress of Snarkworld), and Repra, the Rites Master, and supported by the Kymellian ambassador Yrik.[3] Peace was achieved under their rule.[4]
Hyinar Usurpation[]
Little is known of the Hyinar Usurpation.
While initiating Snarkwar, Hyinar, third prince of the royal blood of Zn'rx harvest inbuilt weapons on the Inhumans of Centauri-IV (at the time Medusa and the crew of the Asterion One visited the Universal Inhumans), on indications of his Mother's scientists, and accompanied by Lord Dyngo and his brother Koyoti. After killing the Inhumans Midnight Blade (Kal Blackbane) and Metallic Titan, the three Zn'rx were finally destroyed by the Inhumans.[5]
Aftermaths[]
It was hoped and expected by the Inhumans that the destruction of Hyinar would be understood by other Snark royalty as a warning that Inhumans of every species were off-limits to Snarkwar.[6]
The Hyinar Usurpation derailed the attempts at modernizing the succession process. Furthermore, it led to the rise to power of Stote, a traditionalist, who undid many reforms of Bhadsha era during his (brief) rule.[1]
What role took the ruling triumvirate in the Hyinar Usurpation, and what happened to it remains unrevealed.
