History
Hyo Hachizuka is a native to Edo, Japan who desperately wanted to become a police officer like his father, despite his physical weakness. After failing the police entrance exam, Hachizuka went on a walk and stumbled across Spider-Man escaping from Kingpin's manor with a Symbiote. Spider-Man became gravely injured, leading the Symbiote to bond with Hachizuka. With the power of the symbiote, Hachizuka was able to escape with Spider-Man and, with the help of his sister, nursed him back to health.
Following his recovery, Spider-Man, alongside his allies Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider, took Hachizuka under their wing, hoping to teach him how to control the Symbiote. As Hachizuka worked with the Spider-People to take down Kingpin, he and the Symbiote grew stronger and stronger, eventually adopting the name Orochi after the eight-headed Dragon, Yamata no Orochi.[1]See Also
