Solicit Synopsis

“MATCH GAME” STARTS NOW!

• Hyperion is on a quest to discover what it truly means to be a human, and what it is to be a survivor. But as a lover, he is met with many more unexpected obstacles...especially when the woman he finds himself attracted to is none other than THUNDRA.

• Equal in strength, intelligence and skill...this couple could be the new powerhouse of the Marvel Universe, but not if they knew what was in store for their potential union. What they discover is the key to their attraction.

Notes

  • Strongman is mistakenly called Big Bally in this issue despite their being two distinct characters in Hyperion #1.

Trivia

In the love scene between Hyperion and Thundra at the water tower, there's a spade logo with "LeBeau" written next to it, on the water tower. It's a reference to X-Men Gambit, whose real name is Remy LeBeau and whose signature weapon is a playing card, usually an ace of spades, the highest card in the deck.
