History

Shark-Girl was one of the X-Men who was present when Kitty Pryde gave a battle cry speech to everyone when the Sentinels attacked the Xavier Institute for Mutant Education and Outreach. She leaped into battle against them.

Iara's dead body was found later on with some of the other X-Men by a young Cable among the ruins of the Institute.
