History
Iarbonel, the high chieftain, mated with Danu (Gaea),[1] and sired Nuada, The Dagda, Ogma, Leir (the younger son), Badb, Macha, Morrigan,[3] and Ériu;[2] the first generation of Celtic gods.[1]
While living Tír na nÓg, in the dimension of Otherworld, his sons ruled at least two of the four cities inhabited by Tuatha de Danaan: The Dagda ruled Murias,[4] and Nuada ruled Finias.[5]
Upon Iarbonel's death, Nuada took leadership of the Tuatha, and they left their cities, to travel through an interdimensional nexus to Earth in approximately 1896 BC.[1]See Also
