History
Id is one of the first two children born to Lord Tantalus, the Deviant ruler of the planet Armechadon, and his consort Nirvana, a genetically-stable Deviant from the planet Tebbel.[2][1]
Id was born on Armechadon and lived there until 25,000 years ago when, following Nirvana's suicide, Tantalus travelled to Earth aboard the starship Vimana, bringing his four children, the Peacekeepers and the wizard Khult with him. Since Tantalus was later exiled by the Celestials, Id remained trapped on Earth as well.[1]
At some point, Id became subject to fits of violence during which he engaged in destrucive behavior. The guidance of his grandfather, Khult, was required to minimize the destruction he caused.[1]
Recent Years[]
After having executed his favored son Pelops for treason and had a confrontation with another son, Lucian, Lord Tantalus went to see Khult but found his laboratory in disarray, with servants cleaning up the mess. When Tantalus asked what had caused all the destruction, Khult replied, "Id." An angered Tantalus reacted by asking if he was to be forever cursed to conceive progeny that would amount to nothing but thorns in his side.[2]
Sometime later, while aboard the Vimana which was then berthed in Pangea, Tantalus inspected the starship's Hyperdrive Transponder, stated that it was ravaged beyond repair, and asked who was responsible. A lackey told him, "Id, sire. It was Id. Most definitely, Id." Tantalus responded with a scream of anger.[3]
Later, when Khult returned to Lyonesse after a brief round trip to Armechadaon, he arrived in a room where there was a lot of damage as well as at least five unconscious (or dead) minions. Shocked by the carnage, Khult voiced his belief that, without his guidance, Id must have run totally amuck! However, Sparrow quickly corrected him, stating that Id had had nothing to do with it.[1]Attributes

Notes
- Since Id has never been seen in any Marvel comic, most of the information about him has had to be inferred.
- Since Nirvana was stated to have only given birth to four children and Pelops and Lucian were stated to be the third and fourth of them, Id and his unnamed brother must have been her first two children.
- Id was only referred to by name and not by any personal pronoun that would indicate gender. Despite this, his maleness was implied when, after having been told that the House of Tantalus had wept first blood, Khult asked Tantalus which of his sons had dishonored the cause. Presumably, if he had known that Tantalus had at least one daughter, Khult would have asked which of his children had dishonored the cause.
- Given that both Pelops and Lucian had white hair and yellow eyes, it's reasonable to assume that Id shared those features. It's also reasonable to assume that Id's longevity, strength and durability are similar to those of his brothers.
- Since Khult was later revealed to have been secretly working against Tantalus for millennia, it seems likely that he guided Id to destroy the Vimana's Hyperdrive Transponder.
