History
A small plastic disc used as homing device for a specific hologram that looked like a ridiculous, flying, fat, bald man. As those are holograms, they could go through walls to follow their target. At the same time, the idento-disc hides a camera in the hologram to report anything "seen" by the hologram to its creator, Doctor Doom. Doom once followed the Fantastic Four using this technology.[1][2] Once Reed Richards found the discs, he removed them, and the holograms disappeared. However, he failed to deactivate the cameras at the same time.[1]
Notes
Per Machines of Doom #1, the spy cameras are hidden in the holograms are stop working once the discs are removed. However, in Fantastic Four #17, Doom is still monitoring the Fantastic Four once they haver removed the discs.
