History

Idunn is the Keeper of the Golden Apples, whose mystical properties retard aging among the Asgardians. Every day, she harvests some of the apples and brings them to Asgard. The apples can only be touched by her, and both the apples and the gasket to collect them cannot be taken from her by force; she has to willingly hand them over.

Along with Hrymer and Amora the Enchantress, Loki hatched a plan to steal the Golden Apples for the Frost Giants, thus dooming Asgard. He tricked the young heroes known as Power Pack into going to Asgard to find the Apples to help their sick grandmother. Then he had Amora turn all Asgardians into babies, including Idunn. Now that she was a baby, Katie Power could easily convince her to give her the gasket, since they both thought boys were gross.

With the gasket, Power Pack harvested the apples and brought them to the disguised Loki, who then revealed his true identity and plan. He had Enchantress capture the heroes and summoned his Frost Giant army to attack the now defenseless Asgard while the Asgardians began to rapidly age now that they no longer had the Golden Apples.

However, at this point it turned out Loki's plan did contain one big flaw; the rapid aging of the Asgardians started Ragnarok and awoke the giant serpent Jormungand. In the chaos that followed, Julie told Thor to destroy the gems Amora had used for her spell. This caused her spell to backfire against Amora, Loki, and Hrymer. All three were turned into babies, after which Julie easily tricked baby-Loki into giving her the apples, which she then returned to the now adult Idunn, ending Ragnarok.
