Following the Zombie outbreak, Ikaris became engaged in a fight against Zombie Captain Marvel over what became known as the Valley of the Broken Gods. Though Ikaris was battle-damaged, neither of them could defeat the other, and so the fight continued for years without end, scorching everything still living that dare to come near the valley.[1]
