Overview

The Ilbars Mountains were a mountainous range south of the Colchians, below the Vilayet Sea, and extending southwestward toward the plateau of Iranistan.[1][2]

The Ilbars River was originated in the Ilbars Mountains, and flowed northward towards the Vilayet Sea.[5]

History

The towns of the Ilbars Mountains were subject to Iranistan, but hostile to it.[2]

When the Great Khan of the Iranis died, his two children, Allman and Sartessa, were spirited away to the Ilbarsi Mountains, where a shah, friendly of the Irani lineage, gave the children refuge. Safe in the gardens of the shah's refuge, the young Prince Allman grew closer to manhood, when he would reclaim the throne of his father. When he was called back to be crowned Khan of Iranistan, the Ilbarsi shah asked Conan to escort him and his sister Sartessa to Bab-El-Shaitan.[6]
