History
In this reality, the Guardians of the Galaxy learned that the Illuminati had trapped Thanos following his failed invasion of Earth. The Guardians disarmed and incapacitated Iron Man and Rocket Raccoon summoned the others to a meeting wearing his armor. The Guardians managed to defeat the Illuminati, and freed Thanos, only to kill him.
As a result of the Illuminati's actions, the Guardians forbade humanity from leaving the Earth, lest they endanger the galaxy again.See Also
