Synopsis for "Part 8: Our Nine-Hundred-Years-and-Counting Mission"
Year 1000
Mister Sinister and Rasputin IV continue their mission to try and save the universe. The sector of the universe they are in now consists of “Prayerworlds” in which massive Exodus clones are fed by hordes of trapped mutant clones who are stuck in endless cycles of prayer exalting their particular ruling Exodus. Rasputin IV is on such a planet, searching clones beneath a slumbering Exodus for a hidden message. As she finds the message, the Exodus awakens and pursues her as she teleports back onto Sinister’s ship. They elude this Exodus by warning another nearby rival Prayerworld that an Exodus has been launched and mutually assured destruction ensues. Now safe, Rasputin decodes the message and it is a space-time location and the phrase “we should be on the same side”.
Eventually Rasputin IV and Sinister reach the coordinates from the hidden message and encounter a satellite that would have left Earth around the same time they did. Rasputin finds a phonograph cylinder within the satellite and brings it back to Sinister. He cobbles together a machine to play the cylinder, knowing that Destiny is behind these clues. On the recording, Destiny tells Sinister that she stole his Moira lab, along with Storm, Orbis Stellaris, and the Arakkii. She says if he’s listening to the recording, then those who stole it back will have hidden it again after Destiny tried to reset the universe since Mystique was dead. (This indicates that although in this timeline Destiny dies,[1] she used this message as a failsafe in case the timeline continued to exist.) The recording then proclaims that if Sinister gets his Moira lab back and the timeline restarts, she will join him. Destiny’s perspective is that she is trying to find a way to save Mystique and now that the timeline in which Mystique lived the longest has seen her death, maybe there is another route to keep her alive alongside Sinister’s path. But first the timeline must be reset. Destiny tells Sinister to dissolve the phonograph cylinder to find instructions on how to find the Moira lab. Destiny’s last message to Sinister is that she knows his ultimate goal is to achieve Dominonhood and she bluntly tells him that he does not succeed. She says his only hope is to give up.
Rasputin comes into the room, having overheard. She realizes that he is not actually trying to save the universe and they begin to fight. Eventually Sinister blasts her out of an airlock and since she lacks the power of flight, is now stranded in space.
Sinister leaves and arrives on a small planet and finds the last Doombot that had been working with Orchis early in the timeline [2]. Moira MacTaggert soon emerges from the shadows and Sinister offers that he may have a way back to “a life [she] could love”. She is interested, as resetting the timeline would mean re-starting a timeline in which the mutants have won.
At the Court of the Red Diamond, Emma Frost is now a living Crimson Gem of Cyttorak. Beast has been reduced to her subdued Court Scientist. He informs her that a Doombot that he programmed to look for certain people had found Sinister and that Sinister was with Moira and they were looking for the Moira clones. Furious that Sinister would try and reset a timeline in which she has “nearly won”, Emma declares war on Sinister.
Sinister and Moira find the World Farm and are promptly shot down by Storm’s Brotherhood forces. Jon Ironfire approaches them and demands to know about the Red Diamond armada behind them. Sinister says that the armada is not with them but is pursuing them. Ironfire says they must protect the World Farm or the universe will fall. Sinister tells Ironfire that together they can save the universe.
In the coldness of deep space, Rasputin IV floats helplessly when Mother Righteous’ voice reaches out to her psychically, asking if she wants revenge. Rasputin IV responds “more than anything” and Mother Righteous asks if she wants to make a deal.

Year 1 was the start of the experiment. By Year 10, it was filling a petri dish. By Year 100, it had cracked the glass and spread across the desk. Now it's been 1000 years, and the lab is filled by the writhing, pulsing sins of sinister and all the lab staff have been devoured. Everyone is in hell. The upside: this includes Sinister.
