Synopsis for "The Face Underneath"

The Hulk’s intuition guides Bruce Banner to a barn containing the skeleton of Doctor Strange, with Strange’s magic artifact the Eye of Agamotto missing. Banner goes to look around the bar for clues, but finds that the town is completely empty. He eventually finds some people hiding in a church, who do actually direct him to the bar. Inside he finds an old man getting revenge on police officers by torturing them with visions of their true selves glimpsed by the Eye of Agamotto. Banner, however, does not fear his true self, and beats up the old man in order to get the Eye of Agamotto. This summons a ghost of a really old Doctor Strange, who is somehow responsible for his own death. The Hulk asks him to explain, and Strange states that it is a long story.
